Thanks for joining us for Synergy 2012! We had an amazing day. Over 150 were at the Forum, over 1000 Passports were distributed, thousands of kids and parents were reached through the Family Fun Night and 100 plane rides have been given away!

That’s just the beginning of this thing, however. Synergy isn’t just one day, but an ongoing effort to improve our community. So how can you keep the momentum going and help move our community from a mindset of poverty to a mindset of empowerment?

1. Attend the follow-up meeting. We’ve gathered surveys and information from you. Now that we’ve assembled it, we want to have a conversation about what we’ve learned and where we can go from here. Join us September 5 at 11 a.m. at Old National Bank in downtown Marion for a follow-up lunch and conversation about next steps.
2. Give a child a Passport. Kids across Grant County need to get engaged with The Passport. As a mentor, parent, teacher, pastor or other influential person in a child’s life, won’t you give them a Passport and help them complete it? This is just one way you can continue to engage kids with our community.
3. Sponsor The Passport. Does your business offer something that’s in the Passport? Then sponsor the Passport and become an official Passport experience! You’ll be featured on the website and receive a banner for your business. Contact Dawn Brown to learn more.
